notes, personal
I’ve been learning quite a few of life's paradoxes lately—some from the Bible, some from my own experiences, and others from biographies. Just to list a few:
- To learn, you have to teach.
- To get, give.
- To gather, scatter.
- To lead, serve.
- To live an easy life, do hard things.
- To live a hard life, do easy things.
- To grow, die.
- The narrow way leads to heaven.
- The broad way leads to hell.
- To enjoy rights, take responsibilities.
- To maintain peace, be capable of war.
