notes, personal

I’ve been learning quite a few of life's paradoxes lately—some from the Bible, some from my own experiences, and others from biographies. Just to list a few:

  • To learn, you have to teach.
  • To get, give.
  • To gather, scatter.
  • To lead, serve.
  • To live an easy life, do hard things.
  • To live a hard life, do easy things.
  • To grow, die.
  • The narrow way leads to heaven.
  • The broad way leads to hell.
  • To enjoy rights, take responsibilities.
  • To maintain peace, be capable of war.
